Hi guys! Happy Tuesday!! Fall is almost here and I could not wait to play with some of my warmer toned pigments and glitters to create a dramatic fall night out look. Today I am going to be showing you guys how I achieved this glittery fall glam look using a copper glitter! This eye look is super easy to create, so if you’re interested on how to achieve this, please keep reading.
To begin with the eyes, I primed my lid using my Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer. I have been liking this primer lately since it has a neutral tone to it, which conceals the appearance of any discolouration or veins on the lids. It also has a long wear to it, which increases the longevity of the shadows.
I then applied Anastasia Beverly Hill’s eyeshadow in “Nude” to set my lid in order to make a smooth canvas to blend the other eyeshadows. You can use any flesh tone, matte shadow for this step!
On a large blending brush I then took a ABH’s eyeshadow in “Caramel” which is a warm, medium brown, and blended that in the crease as the transition colour.
On a flat definer brush, I then took ABH’s eyeshadow in “Sienna” and cut my crease, creating a structured line in the crease of my eye, and followed that with a tapered blending brush to blend out the harsh edge.
Next for my favourite part being the glitter!!! I used Mac’s glitter in “Reigning Riches” from the holiday collection “Objects of Affection Pink + Rose Pigments & Glitter”. The colour of the glitter is so amazing. It is a very warm toned, copper gold with orange flecks of glitter, which is perfect for the fall time and for those (like me) who are obsessed with warm shadows. I applied this to the lid, right under where I did the cut crease, carving out the shape on a flat concealer brush. Since this is a glitter, you need to apply something for it to adhere to, or you will get a lot of fall out. I used the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue on the lid prior to adding the glitter.
To finish off the look I applied my Inglot gel liner in the shade #77 which is the blackest black and winged it out in a cat eye for some more drama. Lastly, I added some fluttery lashes which were the Ardell Demi Wispies with some individual lashes added to the outer corners.
And that completes this glittery, fall glam eye look! I hope you all enjoyed this look, and thank you for reading! Let me know in the comments your thoughts on this look, as well as your favourite fall eye looks!
