Hello everyone!! I hope everyone enjoyed their St. Patrick’s Day and remained safe! I created this fun green eye look for my St. Patrick’s Day festivities and ended up loving the way it turned out. Although this is more on the dramatic side, I think this look is very wearable as the colour schemes really compliment each other. I paired the look with a soft nude lip to enhance the eyes and make them the main focus. If you’re interested in seeing what products I used to achieve this look, please keep reading!
To contour, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit in the shade “Light”. I used a mixture of the shade “Vanilla” and “Banana” on the under eye to further highlight (I love a bright under eye CLEARLY with all of these products lol). To contour, I used the shades “Havana” and “Light Sculpt” to warm up the skin as well as contour my cheekbones. To set the cream contour, I used the NYX Contour Kit which I have been LOVING. Let me know if any of you would like an in-depth review of it- I would love to!
On the cheeks I wanted to use something peachy to compliment the green on the eyes. For blush, I used the Maybelline Fit Me Blush in the shade “Medium Coral”. This blush is so beautiful, it’s the perfect peachy coral with light flecks of gold which looks so nice on this skin. For highlight I used my Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in the shade “Lightscapade”.
Now for the eyes! I used Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows is the shades “Warm Taupe” and “Caramel” right above the crease on a fluffy blending brush.
Then with a more dense brush, I took the shade “Sienna” and blended that lower in the crease to add some warmth and definition.
For the lid, I took another ABH shadow in the shade “Isla” (from the self-made palette), mixed with a little of “Emerald Green”.
For my winged liner, I used my favourite NYC Liquid Liner to create a fierce cat eye. For lashes, I used my Ardell “Demi Wisipies”.
In the water line, I used the Essence Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof in the shade “Urban Jungle 03”. I then smoked that out on the lower lash line using a mix of the shadows used before- “Sienna” and “Isla”.
Lastly, for the lips, I lined them using my all time favourite Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Liner in “Trick” and then used Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in “Pure Hollywood”, which is the perfect pale, mauve nude.
And that completes the look!! Thank you for taking the time to read today. I hope you all enjoyed this look as well as your St. Patrick’s Day. Feel free to alter the green on the lid for another colour because this look is so versatile and wearable.
