Hello readers, welcome to my blog! It feels like I haven’t posted in forever (because I haven’t). Things have been so hectic and especially since I travel for work, finding the time to sit down and dedicate my day to a post has felt nearly impossible. That being said, I couldn’t go another day without posting so I am back today with a quick eye look using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette (angels singing). This palette is hands down my all time favourite. ABH really killed it from pigmentation, formulation, colour scheme and even packaging, it is absolutely stunning. This look was super simple and easy to achieve so if you’re interested in reading further about the products and techniques I used- please keep reading!
Eye Primer: Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer- My current go-to primer! This primer makes shadows last and has the added benefit of making color appear more vibrant. Sweat- and humidity-resistant, this formula doesn’t fade, crease, or smudge for 24 hours
Eye Shadow: Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette- A present-day take on Renaissance colors, this eye palette features 14 shades that let you create stylish, day to night looks
- First taking the shade “Buon Freco” (4th shadow, top row) I blended this right above my crease to give my eye some contour and definition.
- Then taking “Love Letter” (6th shadow, top row) I blended this right into my crease all the way from inner to outer corner to deepen up the look and add more dimension.
- I then took both “Buon Freco” and “Love Letter” and blended these under my lash line with a pencil brush and connected it back into the crease to create a seamless look.
- Lastly, taking “Vermeer” I packed this right on the center of the lid, stopping right where my crease begins. I also applied this lightly on my brow bone.
Lashes: Huda Beauty Classic False Lashes “Scarlett #8”- high volume, dramatic style
Eyeliner: March Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Pencil- Used to tight line
Lipstick: Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick “Crush”- A long-lasting, full-coverage matte lipstick in liquid form
Highlighter/Illuminator: Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit “Gleam”(Used a mix of “Crushed Pearl” and “Mimosa”)- Bring instant luminosity to the complexion with these four metallic powder highlighters
And that completes this look! I hoped you guys enjoyed this really quick smokey eye. This palette is so beautiful so if you can get your hands on it, definitely do so! Thank you for taking the time to read today, make sure you like and share if you enjoyed.
Talk to you soon! Xx
