Backstage at New York Fashion Week 2016

Hello loves, welcome back to my blog! As you may know if you follow me on social media, this past weekend I was in New York City for New York Fashion Week! I was given the amazing opportunity and invitation to participate in Fashion Week as a makeup artist backstage. The company I was working with teamed up with over 30 designers to host an exclusive fashion show right in the heart of New York City. I was given the fabulous opportunity to work alongside many talented makeup artists on the models who would be walking for various, elite designers residing worldwide.

This experience was unlike anything else I have encountered- As New York Fashion Week took off, so did the influx of posh editors, bloggers, celebrities and designers. Although I have visited New York multiple times prior to this trip, never have I encountered the city with such a dazzling and inspiring atmosphere.

Street Style and Shopping- While walking the streets of 5th avenue and seeing storefront windows and people venturing, the fashion was incredible- from runway to street style it was tasteful, edgy and fabulous.

Backstage NYFW –Although majority of my trip I was ceaselessly working, I managed to take some pictures of a few of my models backstage before walking the runway.
