Floral for Summer

Wearing prints does not have to be threatening. With the drive to be bold and daring this summer, it is time to ditch the classic, solid crop tops and denim shorts and add some unique prints into your wardrobe. This season, I have seen floral prints everywhere—which I have been loving! From celebrity affairs to daily street style, floral print is prominent this summer. Here are some examples on how to incorporate floral into your summer attire!

Striking, patterned separates are all the rage right now and I am totally here for it! While recently shopping at Zara, I came across this number and instantly got pajama chic vibes. Matching separates are so innovative and easy to style. You are granted such flexibility with this as you can pair the jacket with some denim jeans, or wear a blouse with the trousers. This attire is daring and so fitting for Summer ’17. Zara

I love fitted, strapless dresses for the summer. They are great to have in your wardrobe during the warmer months because you can chuck on a jean jacket with some sandals for a more causal lookor you can go bare and add some pumps for an evening event. The versatility of this makes it perfect for the summer when the weather may be unpredictable. Zara

When scrolling through my IG feed, I saw these pants on the stunning Adrienne Bailon and I instantly fell in love. She is someone in the entertainment industry that I view as a true style ICON. I love how she paired these wide-leg trousers with a draped jacket. This look is so edgy yet very soft and perfect for brunching with the girls. DVF

T-Shirt dresses are such a staple for the summertime. I adore this dress in particular because its understated print makes it extremely casual and perfect for everyday wear.  I favour the oversized look, especially in the summer, because your accessories have the platform to deliver a statement. Whether this is accompanied by ankle booties, sneakers or even heels, comfort and style will conquer simultaneously. Forever 21

This off-the-shoulder top is so fun because it plays with both texture and print. The cut of this crop top is extremely flattering and would pair so nicely with high-waisted pants or a high cut flowy skirt. Whether sporting this at a festival or a daytime event, this top screams summer!! Forever 21

  1. These are some great outfits! In particular, I really like the strapless dresses. I think these could look really great for a visit to the beach. Plus, I’m really interested to see exactly all of the various styles, colors, and even shapes of these dresses that are available.
